About us
Our Mission
Kalashray aims to promote Indian traditional folk arts, especially Indian classical music, by providing widespread publicity and supporting young talent through the gurukul system. Additionally, we propagate morning raagas through musical mornings of Indian classical music.
To recognize outstanding contributions to the art, culture and literature we confer the Saraswati Sadhna Samman, in memory of Padma Vibhushan Gaan Saraswati Kishori Amonkar.
Furthermore, we organize the annual Bhimsen Sangeet Samaroh in memory of Bharat Ratna Bhimsen Joshi.
We also conduct art camps and workshops, titled “Nurturing the Culture,“ for fellowship students to receive guidance and blessings from learned Gurus.
Our Vision
Kalashray is committed to establishing a modern Gurukul that combines traditional values with modern technology. Renowned personalities from various fine arts disciplines, including music, art, literature, and theatre, will impart training to research scholars following the ancient Guru-Shishya parampara.
Our institution will also leverage modern technical ways of education to provide a holistic learning experience.
Students will benefit from one-to-one sessions with their mentors, facilitating personalized guidance and growth.
