Series of Morning and Afternoon Raagas
Kalashray presents an annual musical event, “Series of Morning and Afternoon Raagas,” in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This initiative aims to preserve and promote the traditional morning and afternoon ragas of Indian classical music.
The primary objective of this event is to prevent the extinction of these unique ragas by showcasing their beauty and significance through musical mornings. By doing so, Kalashray hopes to revive interest in these traditional melodies and ensure their continuation for future generations.

Bhimsen Sangeet Samaroh
Bhimsen Sangeet Samaroh is a fantastic annual event organized by Kalashray to commemorate the legendary Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi ji in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Having successfully completed 7 editions, the event has established itself as a prominent platform for celebrating Indian classical music.
The event also honors artists with the prestigious “Swaradhiraj Samman” award for their remarkable contributions to Indian classical music. This award is a testament to the event’s commitment to recognizing and promoting exceptional talent in the field.

Saraswati Sadhna Samman Samaroh
Organized by Kalashray, the Saraswati Sadhna Samman Samaroh is an annual event held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to commemorate the legendary Padma Vibhushan Gaansaraswati Vidushi Kishori Amonkar ji.
This prestigious event honors artists and personalities who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields with the “Saraswati Sadhna Samman” award.
With five successful editions, including the latest “5th Saraswati Sadhna Samman Samaroh” held this year in Dehradun, this event continues to celebrate excellence in the arts.

Nurturing The Culture
Kalashray’s “Nurturing The Culture” Workshops:
As part of its mission to preserve and promote India’s rich cultural heritage, Kalashray organizes art camps and workshops for fellowship students. These workshops, titled “Nurturing The Culture,” provide a unique opportunity for students to receive guidance and blessings from renowned Gurus.
The latest edition of “Nurturing The Culture” was held at Social Baluni Public School, Dehradun, and featured a guest lecture by esteemed Flautist Pt. Ronu Majumdar and Kalashray President Himanshu Darmora. The event was also graced by the presence of Vidushi Anuradha Pal, a revered Tabla Maestro, as a special guest.
